Polyamp specializes in power supply products and systems designed to protect ships from magnetic mines.
We develop and manufacture AC/DC and DC/DC converters in-house. Our specialty is high-reliability voltage converters for use in demanding environments.
Polyamp is also specialized in the design and manufacturing of mine protection systems for Swedish and international naval forces. We manufacture sensors for measuring electric fields underwater, with applications in both civilian and military marine contexts.
We are in an exciting and expansive phase, and are therefore looking for a motivated and driven individual to take primary responsibility for quality management within the company. Our headquarters are located in Sollentuna, with manufacturing in Åtvidaberg.
Role/Responsibilities
As a Quality Manager, you will work to develop, implement, and improve quality strategies and processes to ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulations. Examples of responsibilities include:
- Developing, implementing, and improving quality strategies and processes to ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulations
- Managing the quality management system to ensure it meets relevant ISO standards and certifications
- Conducting internal audits and overseeing external audits to ensure quality control and identify areas for improvement
- Collaborating with other departments, including production, purchasing, and engineering, to ensure a smooth and quality-assured process flow
- Ensuring policies are up to date and comply with legislation
- Actively participating in meeting requirements regarding ISP and Security Protection Classification
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has/is:
- A degree or equivalent post-secondary education
- At least 2-3 years of work experience in a relevant field
- Solid experience and knowledge of working with quality management systems with a focus on continuous improvement
- Good knowledge of quality standards and tools such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 25001
- High IT proficiency, including Office 365, ERP systems, and other relevant systems for the role
- Excellent proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
